Parks and Recreation Board
A five member Recreation Board was established in 1987. This is strictly an advisory board to the Township Board of Supervisors. They submit budget requests annually and recommend projects to the Board of Supervisors. We currently have a very active Board and the recreation programs show the pride this Board takes in their responsibilities. There is a park workday planned once a year. The Board develops a list of jobs that need done and the teams that use the fields and their advisers join our Board and residents to accomplish those tasks, cleaning up the park for the season’s events.
The Recreation Board meets once a month at the Township Municipal Building.
